Account Assistant Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Liverpool An exciting opportunity has arisen for a diligent and organised Account Assistant to join a leading business in Liverpool. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team, assisting in preparing monthly management accounts. What you'll do: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts Support transactional processing Process purchase invoices, including capture and coding Reconcile revenue against activity and prepare accrued/deferred income journals Maintain Fixed Asset Register and process depreciation Prepare accruals or prepayment journals for review by Management Accountants Assist in compiling supplier payment runs for processing Review staff expenses for accuracy of coding and VAT recovery What you bring: 2-3 years experience working in a finance team, including transactional processing High degree of attention to detail with the ability to self-review and error-check own work Organised and adaptable with a strong work ethic Proficient in working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels Functional working knowledge of MS office packages, including Outlook, Excel and Word Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
