Nursing Home Manager (Commissioning)
Full-time - Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager with a strong background in commissioning to oversee the successful launch and management of a new Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to residents and leading a team of compassionate healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
* Current Nursing qualification and active registration with the NMC
* Proven experience in a management role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in elderly care
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively manage resources, budgets, and staffing levels to meet the needs of residents
* Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
Day-to-Day
* Lead the commissioning process for the new nursing home, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and that the facility is fully prepared for residents
* Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of nurses, care assistants, and support staff
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of person-centered care
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including financial management, staff scheduling, and care planning
* Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents
* Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and community organizations, to foster a positive and inclusive environment
