Boutique Director, Harrods
(Permanent, Full-Time)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique Director, you will play a key role representing the Maison, building and maintaining Boutique reputation by exceeding client expectations while maximizing sales opportunities to reach budgets.
Agile, resilient, and connected, you will embrace new retail services while maintaining excellent operations standards as per Jaeger-LeCoultre policies.
Last but not least, you will be responsible for fostering team spirit and developing your team members to exceed targets and rise as new talents for the Maison.
Key responsibilities:
Boutique KPIs
1. Establish Harrods boutique as one of the top Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutiques worldwide
2. Achieve monthly and yearly Boutique turnover and KPI targets set by the brand
3. Achieve personal targets (quantitative and qualitative)
4. Deliver a flawless in-store journey to clients, inspire other team members
5. Manage and ensure that Store Operations are perfectly followed (corporate guidelines)
6. Ensure the highest level of service to After Sales Clients.
7. Manage complaints proactively
Boutique Management and Team Leadership
1. Drive, monitor, and report performances of the boutique and each team member with boutique routines such as Morning briefs and Coaching sessions
2. Ensure that store operations and all store procedures are perfectly followed to enable the team to perform at their very best on the shop floor.
3. Provide training plans and career paths to your team to ensure the highest level of motivation
4. Act as a business enabler for the boutique team to grow and engage VVIC clients database
Business Development
1. Leverage London and Knightsbridge district strategic positions in luxury retail to grow Jaeger LeCoultre's business
2. Participate in networking activities inside/outside of the Boutique including client events.
3. Bring visibility through affinity partnerships and network of contacts to boost sales and traffic
4. Lead by example and develop individual relationships with clients and prospects
Retail and Service Excellence
1. Ensure that the "Selling Ceremony" is respected by all team members while delivering a flawless in-store journey to clients, while providing the best possible clienteling activations
2. Anticipate clients' specific needs
3. Strive to achieve 100% in Mystery shopping results for the Boutique team
4. Act as an Ambassador for the Brand, ensuring the integrity of its image with clients and within the local retail community (Harrods and beyond).
5. Ensure impeccable grooming standards according to guidelines
Outreach
1. Develop relationships and build a network of key contacts, build brand awareness and recruit new clients.
2. Participate in off-site events and clienteling activities organized by Marketing and event team.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
As an ideal candidate, you will demonstrate:
1. Solid experience in Luxury Goods Retail with proven records of Boutique management experience
2. Previous/current experience in Harrods is preferable
3. Previous experience in managing a team by leading, motivating, training, and developing through active management (KPI management)
4. Very good general education, sense for etiquette and presentation
5. Strong sense of luxury service, aesthetics, and proactive approach
6. Very good interpersonal competencies and ability to interact with international clientele. Able to develop a network.
7. Very good organizational skills, at ease with performance management and analytical tools
8. Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English and another language is a plus.
9. Passion for watches and luxury goods
