We are looking for a Divisional Managing Director to join our communications division. In this role you will report into the CEO and be accountable for all aspects of business delivery in your division. You will have ownership of the divisional P&L and will be responsible for the growth in sales and profitability. As a Divisional Managing Director, you will be responsible for: Being part of the Operations Board. Accountable for all aspects of business delivery in the business division. Ownership of the divisional P&L. Accountable for the growth in sales and profitability in the division. Creation and implementation of a divisional strategy, aligned to the group strategy. Evaluation of divisional performance and the recommendation of new strategies for performance improvements. Management of all business operations in assigned divisions to achieve company goals. Resolution of business issues and ensuring that all escalated issues are closed. Ensuring that the division works in compliance with legislation, ISO requirements, company policies and procedures. Assisting with recruitment, performance evaluation and improvement, retention, and employee relation activities. Identification of skill gaps and training provisions in line with functional leads. Development and implementation of best practices to ensure operational efficiency. Oversee resourcing adjustments to obtain maximum productivity. Recommendation of cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality. Developing new business programs to meet productivity and revenue goals. Identification of areas for improvement and the subsequent development of action plans. Maintaining close customer focus including driving NPS and helping win business. Ensuring full shared service support to deliver divisional objectives. Responsibility for the end to end process in product development and delivery. Development of bids, proposals including commercial and contract terms and conditions. Bring and apply understanding of the sector in which we operate, including technology and competitor analysis. Develop the Technology road map for the Division. Development of our colleagues and capability within the Division. Key Skills & Experience: Substantial experience in a MD or General Management role. Experience of driving operations, sales and increasing profitability and productivity across a business. A strong background in the technology industry working with communications, including mobile, UC, telephony, and connectivity. Tangible experience of having full P&L responsibility. Leadership of a senior management team. Experience of strategising, forecasting, and executing company growth plans through sales, process improvement and innovation.
