This supports the national focus on mental health inpatient provision and includes work in relation to culture of care, quality improvement and comprehensively adopting a Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) approach. We want services that are financially efficient, align with quality standards and move towards a model of care that is coherent with the latest clinical guidance and thinking. We are seeking a Programme Manager to join our Programme Management Office and work closely with the Transformation Lead to support the delivery of this in-patient transformation. We will welcome applications from enthusiastic Programme Managers with demonstrable organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously. The programme of work involves significant organisational change management and may require the solving of complex technical issues in order to enable the transformation of clinical and administrative services and processes. You will line manage and support the development of programme management office staff. Communication is central to this role and the successful candidates will strong on engagement and relationships and experienced in system working. The post holder will have responsibility for managing allocated transformation programmes and associated projects through their lifecycle from inception to delivery. They will be able to discharge their programme and project management skills in a complex organisation, working across organisational boundaries and within health systems. The successful candidate will manage significant large scale programmes within and across the Trust, following a clear programme and project management methodology and will ensure programme and project deliverables are in line with Trust, regional and national strategy.
