Job Description
The Role
To sell the Company's truck tyre products and services within a geographical region and in accordance with the company guidelines. To achieve annual business targets in terms of volume, margin, brand mix and market share. To build and manage our Conti 360° Network, supporting the service delivery to our fleet contracts.
Responsibilities / Duties include:
1. Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timelines. Promote and sell all group brands – Continental, Uniroyal, Semperit, Barum, Bandvulc and ContiRe.
2. Manage and develop the dealer base within a defined territory, with special emphasis on Conti360° Network partners and associate members. Present, promote and sell products/services/solutions using solid business arguments to existing and prospective dealers.
3. Maximise brand and product mix according to CTG business targets. Monitor and analyse the development of unit sales, price, brand mix, CMC and market share by customer, brand and product group within the sales territory.
4. Provide technical advice to dealers around brand, product categories, segmentation, specifications, vehicle compatibility, performance expectations, application, usage, maintenance, retreadability, regroovability and wear & damage. Identify commercial training needs and facilitate thereof in cooperation with Technical Customer Services (TCS) prioritising Conti360 Network.
5. Responsibility for adherence to the pricing strategy and profitability performance targets through efficient management of price autonomy, set by CTG for the customer and channel mix of the identified region.
6. Report, track and manage sales performance of each Conti 360° Network partner in line with agreed annual targets. Ensure stocking of group tyres in line with expected policy fitment. Expand the Conti 360° Network by identifying new prospective members which fit the target profile set by the company. Thereby ensuring complete territory coverage by service partners to provide a high-level professional fleet service solution.
Qualifications
7. Commercial Vehicle / Truck Tyre Sales knowledge & experience – Desirable OR
8. Proven business to business sales experience
9. Highly motivated, organised, focus driven & professional
10. Good understanding of commercial processes, analytical thinking
11. Excellent communication & presentation skills
12. Proactive relationship/customer focus
13. Strong Interpersonal skills, team player with the ability to work autonomously
14. High standard of education
15. Fully competent on all IT Microsoft packages - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Additional Information
16. This role is full time and field based, however applicants must live in the South West (UK)
17. Availability to travel as needed in addition to overnight stays
18. Full, clean driving licence
19. Must be able to work in the UK and have the right to do so.
