The successful applicant will become part of a busy team working within our licensed aseptic unit at Singleton Hospital offering a high quality service to our Health Board patients. The aseptic unit provides a wide range of injectable medicines in a ready to use form including cytotoxic chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapies, parenteral nutrition and clinical trials medicines. Singleton Hospital looks out over the sweep of Swansea Bay, 5 minutes' walk from the beach and within 15 minutes' drive to the award winning coast of the Gower peninsula, the UK's first area of outstanding natural beauty. Main duties of the job The work will include cleaning, monitoring & maintenance of equipment & facilities, stock management of medicines & consumables, assembly of batches & orders and the aseptic preparation & dispensing of medicines.Previous pharmacy experience is recommended. Applicants will be expected to undergo training and successfully achieve NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services following appointment.
