Job Title: Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Location: Manchester Duration: Ongoing Working Hours: Flexible Salary: £38.00 per hour- £50.00 per hour. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our team. As an ANP, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing advanced clinical care and support to patients. This is a temporary role to cover on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients across all age groups, managing both acute and chronic conditions. Perform advanced assessments, diagnostics, and treatment interventions for a range of clinical presentations. Prescribe medications, initiate treatments, and perform clinical procedures as within your scope of practice. Work with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Patient Consultations: Conduct face-to-face and virtual consultations, offering advice and guidance regarding medical conditions, treatments, and preventative measures. Review patient histories, conduct physical exams, and interpret diagnostic results to formulate diagnoses. Collaboration: Work closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, practice nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Liaise with external healthcare providers, specialists, and hospitals when necessary. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Ensure confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. Education & Mentoring: Support and provide clinical guidance to other nursing staff, offering mentorship as needed. Participate in training and development opportunities as appropriate. Essential Qualifications & Skills: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration. Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) qualification (or equivalent). Prescribing Qualification (Independent Prescriber qualification is essential). Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or acute settings. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Experience in managing a range of patient conditions autonomously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Desirable Qualifications: Additional post-graduate qualifications (e.g., MSc in Advanced Practice). Experience in GP Surgeries
