Job Description
Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a school located in Weoley Castle, Birmingham who are currently looking to appoint a Learning Mentor. This is a full-time role to start Monday 24th February until July 2025 with the potential to extend into the new academic year.
You will be working with disengaged learners providing support to them to assist them with their challenges as well as their personal and learning development.
You will be working across all primary Key stages (EYFS, KS1 and KS2) supporting pupils of various abilities and needs working on a 1:1 and small group basis.
You will be delivering activities as well as differentiating lesson plans to meet the needs of the pupils. We are looking for someone who is creative with the delivery to enable them to enjoy learning and to keep them engaged. You will be meeting with pupils on a regular basis to give advice, track progress, update records and liaise with staff members and parents.
To apply you will need either a mentoring qualification or have a minimum of a level 3 qualification relating to Childcare/Education and mentoring experience.
