We have an exciting new opportunity in the Angus Community Mental Health Services and are looking for an Assistant Practitioner to join us in the Community Mental Health Teams across Angus. Working alongside the wider multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of high-quality person-centred care and treatment within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The post is based within Whitehills Health and Community Health Centre and you will be part of an Integrated Community Mental Health Service which forms part of the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership. You will have a broad range of experience of working with people who have neurodevelopmental and mental health needs and be committed to improving their health outcomes. The post will work alongside the Neurodevelopmental Nurse Co-ordinator and wider teams in supporting the clinical needs of people with neurodevelopmental and mental health difficulties for the first 23 months and will be reviewed thereafter. The successful candidate will receive a robust induction programme, alongside ongoing clinical and managerial supervision. You would excel in this post…if you are recovery focused in your approach. You must be able to demonstrate relevant attainment level at HNC/SVQ3 (SCQF7) or be willing to undertake an additional qualification HNC/SVQ 3 (SCQF 7). If you do not have the above qualifications the post will commence as a Band 3 until this is obtained. The ability to work as part of our extended weekend service and public holidays is essential to this post, as is the ability to travel across the locality. This will not be a requirement for this post for the first 23 months and will be reviewed thereafter.
