Job Advert
The job will include inspecting the Rights of Way (ROW) network at agreed frequencies and dealing with reports of possible defects on the network. We have a duty to ensure Rights of Way (ROW) are safe and free from obstructions.
You will take appropriate enforcement action when required to ensure the proper and lawful use of the Rights of Way (ROW) network and deal with enquiries from members, customers, land owners and other stakeholders.
The role can be quite physical with a lot of walking and some maintenance tasks like cutting back brambles / hedges. Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or be able to demonstrate the ability to travel around the borough to fulfil the role. You will be out and about in all weathers with some time spent in the office.
The role is Monday to Friday. Full training is available for the right candidate.
