Quest Property, part of the Brook Group of Companies, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations of our diverse portfolio, including hotels, food and beverage facilities, residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be a skilled tradesperson with hands-on experience in maintenance, ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards, and ideally have their own transport and tools. You will work closely with operational management to organize and manage ongoing maintenance and small works projects, including liaison with a team of on-site maintenance operatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the on site maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and responsiveness to guest needs.
2. Skilled Tradesman Duties: Utilise your expertise in trades such as joinery, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs, delivering practical solutions to complex challenges.
3. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program tailored to our hotel and food and beverage operations, ensuring all facilities remain in peak condition.
4. Project Management: Collaborate closely with hotel management to organise and manage ongoing maintenance and small works projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards and budget.
5. Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve issues to minimise disruption to guest services and operations.
6. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, focusing on cost-effective practices while upholding our high service standards.
7. Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and compliance with industry regulations.
8. Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, health codes, and company policies, particularly in food service areas.
9. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and spare parts necessary for hotel and food and beverage operations.
10. Reporting: Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, metrics, and budget status for senior management.
11. Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing education for maintenance staff to enhance their skills in hospitality-focused environments.

Salary:
Up to £40k plus mileage, pension and staff discount at operational businesses.
