As part of the personal tax team, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the work of junior team members. Reporting to the Tax Directors & Partners, the role involves managing and optimizing the performance of the personal tax department. Key Responsibilities: Manage client portfolios, ensuring their needs are met and maximizing revenue. Oversee the production and review of personal tax returns for both own portfolio and junior members'. Actively participate in tax advisory work relevant to skill level. Plan, monitor, and review ad hoc tasks to ensure timely completion within set budgets. Conduct consultancy work and attend client meetings as required. Undertake ad hoc projects and research as necessary. Allocate and review tasks, ensuring appropriate training for trainees. Maintain up-to-date tax technical knowledge through continuous professional development. Requirements CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified, with consideration for QBE candidates. Minimum 2 years PQE. Previous experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, within a firm of Chartered Accountants. Proficient in IT (Excel, Word, tax software) and possess strong communication skills. Demonstrated supervisory, organizational, and client-focused abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure. Positive attitude and commitment to the firm's values.
