What you'll be doing:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Group Learning & Development Team in their delivery of training events and development activities which meet the requirements of the business.
Supporting service to maintain a compliance of 85% and above.
This role is to support the residential services, supported living and the hospitals with MAYBO Breakaway and physical intervention training.
* Preparing all necessary documentation required for the training courses. Saving/uploading documentation to the company systems to ensure attendance is accurately recorded and training payments are received by attendees.
* Ensuring that our Learning Management system is kept up to date to ensure the smooth running of the booking schedule, compliance reporting a and e-learning.
* Supporting other services within the group with all admin needs relating to training of staff
* Attend and contribute to Team Meetings as required
* Maintain own knowledge and competence by undertaking appropriate continuing professional development
* Tasks and projects as determined by the Assistant Training Manager and the Behavior Lead Specialists
* Inform the L&D Assistant Training Manager of any issues that are likely to adversely impact quality of client care and/or health and safety of employees
* Regularly meet with services via a teams call to support them with any training requirements and concerns they may have regarding training. Maintain a supportive relationship with the service so they have the required training.
* Book training sessions requested by services via external training providers or internally via our training team and ensure good attendance to maximum the courses, contacting delegates if not shown for training and liaising with the service managers with Attendance /non attendance.
* Arranging suitable training venues in line with the RRN guidance, ensuring the size of the training rooms are suitable for the number of delegates to perform the practical elements of the training
* Ensuring numbers for booked courses are checked ahead of the training taking place to ensure that there is a minimum number of delegates booked to ensure the physical intervention training can go ahead.
* Regularly check each service’s compliance and work with the Service Managers to ensure they are sending training requests for the training that is required.
* Work with Learning & Development Systems Manager and Learning Management Systems Assistant to amend any issues associated with the system.
* Tasks and projects as determined by the Assistant Training Manager
What you'll have:
* Excellent organisational and time management skill
* Adaptable and flexible approach to tasks
* Computer literate with good Microsoft Word knowledge
* Independent, self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision
* This is a fast paced and varied role where you will meet lots of people. You will need to someone who can adapt to people and situations.
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
