Join our Nuclear & Power Division as a Civil Engineering Manager and play a pivotal role in creating spaces and places that matter. The Civil Engineering Manager is responsible for the civil engineering package of works for a given project, including budget, programme, and safety.
In this highly technical role, you'll lead from end-to-end on a broad range of projects, with plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself and support the development of your peers.
Your purpose:
* You will be based in our Bristol office and will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our track record and reputation for top-quality engineering.
* You will become part of an integrated multi-disciplined team shaping the future of the Energy industry by delivering world-class projects. We’re recruiting specifically as our portfolio on the Sizewell C, Small Modular Reactors, Hinkley Point C, and UKAEA projects is increasing.

What you can bring:
* To be successful in this role, you should be a chartered engineer with demonstrable technical knowledge and experience within civil and structural engineering design and construction.
* You will have experience working and delivering within a multi-discipline environment and being responsible for the delivery of the engineering design.
* You will have experience in working with large-scale projects and will be comfortable making engineering-based decisions with significant impact on engineering risk.
* Strong commercial acumen and a firm grasp of the context and implications of engineering activities and decisions will also be necessary.
* Varying degrees of relevant experience and skillsets will be considered for the role.
* In addition, you will display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You will possess an innovative mindset, have a flexible approach, and have the capacity to deliver high-quality work on a consistent basis in a demanding environment.
* Mobility and agile working between our offices and client sites is encouraged in our dynamic project environments.
* Knowledge and experience of developing and managing safety cases would be welcomed but not required.
