Position: Hygiene Compliance and Improvement Manager
Location: Mobile / Field based role across the North and Midlands in England
Role: 1 year fixed term contract
Mitie have a brand new opportunity for a Hygiene Compliance and Improvement Manager to join their team! This is a field-based role covering Food Hygiene contracts across the North and Midlands area.
The key responsibilities would be:
1. Provide leadership and guidance to regional hygiene teams
2. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
3. Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance hygiene practices and operational efficiency
4. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve hygiene processes
5. Communicate hygiene performance and improvement initiatives to senior management and stakeholders
6. Promote a safe working environment and address any health and safety concerns
7. Ensure all hygiene practices comply with health and safety regulations
8. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed
9. Prepare and present reports on hygiene performance and compliance
10. Support Operational Management of the contracts to fulfil business needs
What we are looking for:
1. Experience of working in food manufacturing
2. Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
3. Experience in a field based role is highly desirable
4. Background of delivering improvement projects
5. Food Safety Level 3
6. Health and Safety knowledge
