This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. Full time 37 hours - part time hours considered - salary will be pro rata.
A range of shifts, over 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. This will include regular night shifts. Compressed hours can be negotiated.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 Nurses (Mental Health or Intellectual Disability) to join a fantastic, supportive, nurse-led service and to be part of ongoing service development. Using a Bio-Psychosocial risk model, the CAMHS Unscheduled Care Team provides comprehensive and systemic mental health assessment for young people up to the age of 18 who present in crisis. Some short-term follow-up for children and young people is also a part of the role, as is liaison with other CAMHS clinicians, hospital staff across a range of clinical areas and wider services for children and young people.
The team is based across Edinburgh and St John’s Hospital in Livingston. Good support will be provided and there will be opportunities for further training.
Minimum Requirements: Full UK driving license required.
