HGV and LCV Technicians Location: Billingham Shifts: 4 days on 4 days off Salary: Up to £45,000 -£60,000 (depending on experience and certification) Overtime Aqua Tech Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking skilled and experienced HGV and LCV Technicians to join a thriving service team at our client’s Billingham depot. Due to significant growth and ongoing investment in their operations, our client offers an exciting opportunity for qualified Technicians to work within a dynamic environment on a range of vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz and non-franchise vehicles. About the Role As a qualified Technician with previous experience and a background in commercial vehicles, you will ensure high standards of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be working as part of a motivated team in a busy dealership or workshop, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the department. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults on vehicles, including trucks and vans, using advanced diagnostic systems. Conduct routine servicing in line with manufacturers' schedules. Perform final inspections and function tests to maintain high-quality standards. Attend breakdowns and carry out roadside repairs as required. Fit accessories and carry out warranty work, ensuring correct documentation. Support the training and development of trainees and apprentices within the workshop. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition. What We’re Looking For: Time-served HGV and LCV Technicians with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Level 3 NVQ/SVQ Required. Proven experience in a fast-paced dealership or workshop environment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
