Salary: Actual annual salary - £18,457 - £19,049

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, term time with 2 inset days.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, pro-active Experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for our oversubscribed nursery within Norton Hill Primary School. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
2. Assist the Nursery Leader to plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
3. Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
4. Ensure high standards of care, development, learning and behaviour
5. Observe and document children's behaviour, progress, and milestones
Skills:
1. Minimum of 4 years experience working with children in a childcare setting
2. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
5. Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children
6. First Aid certification (preferred)
Willingness to work within our Wraparound Care provision from 7.15am to 8.30am and 3.30pm - 5.45pm to support when needed would be an advantage. This would be paid in addition to the advertised salary.
