Your new company A RIBA and CIAT registered Architecture practice based just outside Sittingbourne in Kent inheriting years of experience across London and the South-East, with a fresh new look and vision. Their values weave their way throughout our work, from the first stage at Feasibility, all the way through to the completed build. Involved in a variety of different sectors including education and residential sectors, my client is also involved in fire damage projects, listed buildings and commercial buildings. They also have a keen interest in sustainability; with the industry constantly evolving, it is important to them that they pass this knowledge on, to create buildings with their client's future and best interests in mind.
Your new role My client is looking for a motivated individual, with a keen interest in design, to work on a number of exciting projects including schools and listed buildings gaining experience across all RIBA stages from planning through to construction. Training and support will be provided, the software used is mainly AutoCAD.
What you'll need to succeed All levels of experience will be considered from graduates to practice experience, must be keen to learn with good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Knowledge of AutoCAD software and other software knowledge such as Revit would be a bonus. You will also have the ability to multitask, manage your workload and meet deadlines.
What you'll get in return Salary ranging from £20k - £25k p.a. This is an opportunity to be a part of a growing team with exciting new plans over the next few years. They adopt flexible working arrangements with core hours between 10am and 4pm and a total of 7.5 hours a day with the ability to split working from home and in the office. Training and progression is also heavily supported with 2 of the Directors having started out at the company as Architectural Assistants.
