Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)\n Location: Sunderland\n Salary: £84 - £108 per day (Depending on Experience)\n Start Date: Immediate\n Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long-Term\n\nAre you passionate about supporting young learners?\n\nGSL Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools in Sunderland. This is a great opportunity to support children in their learning journey, helping them grow academically and socially.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students, offering individual and group support. You will help create a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring every child gets the support they need to succeed.\n\nKey Responsibilities of a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA):\n\nSupport teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.\nWork one-to-one and in small groups to help students understand key concepts.\nCreate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.\nAssist in developing teaching materials and resources.\nSupport children's social and emotional well-being.\nGain valuable hands-on experience in a school setting.\nRequirements to be a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA):\n\nA bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is desirable.\nA proactive, energetic, and caring approach to working with children.\nAn enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).\nA fully checkable work history.\nFlexibility to adapt to different classroom settings.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\nWhat We Offer to Primary Teaching Assistant (TA): \n\nCompetitive pay rates based on your experience.\nA variety of teaching opportunities in different schools.\nSupport from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement.\nThe chance to work in schools that value quality teaching.\nSafeguarding Commitment\n\nThis role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
