Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Financial Controller.
The company is a highly successful property business with multiple sites in the UK, based in the heart of Bournemouth. Established over 10 years ago, it generates revenues in excess of £40m. This is a new and exciting role for a commercially driven Financial Controller to take early responsibility and lead from the front.
The role:
Reports to the Managing Director and the CFO and will be responsible for:
1. Delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and supporting analysis.
2. Initiating cost savings and profitability improvements.
3. Reviewing sales results and margins.
4. Inventory movement cash flow forecasts and budget preparation.
5. Balance Sheet reconciliations, VAT returns.
6. Head office and Stores payroll.
7. Month and Quarter end close, preparation of year-end accounts.
The person:
Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA with at least 3-5 years previous experience working as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller. You will take immediate steps to implement controls and processes to assist the business decision-making process. Confident and outgoing, comfortable challenging how things are done and building working relationships within the larger group. Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong Excel and IT skills, knowledge of EPOS systems is useful.
