GBN 457 – Travelling live-in nanny, newborn baby girl due June 2025, U.K, France, Dubai, Japan, Australia and Italy, £50,000 – £55,000 per annum, Mid-May start date A lovely couple who are welcoming their first baby in June 2025 is seeking a live-in nanny for the care of their newborn baby girl at the start of the contract. This role will be for an initial period of one year to join the family alongside various travels starting in the U.K in June, in the South of France from July – September, October – December in Dubai, January and February will be spent in Japan and Australia and March in Italy before they plan to settle back in the U.K. There is a possibility this contract will be extended in the U.K and will be a live-out role between Belgravia and Buckinghamshire. It depends on the candidate. Whilst in Dubai you will be provided a separate studio apartment and in other locations very comfortable live-in accommodation is provided including double room with en-suite bathroom. The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced nanny with at least 5 years’ experience working with newborns. Someone who is happy to work alongside two hands on and caring parents who values cultural experiences and who thrives in a structured, yet dynamic environment. The candidate should be confident to guide the parents feeding, routine building, sleep training, weaning and nutrition, developmental activities and milestone tracking and ensuring you are organised and can assist with managing the nursery, essentials and assisting with travel logistics. The family are very welcoming and value good relationships with their staff with mutual respect. A nanny who is naturally cheerful and social will get on well with the family, with the ability to be able to ‘read the room’ and understand when family time is required, although they are communicative, this would be welcomed. The working hours will be 45 hours per week across five days, with two weekends off a month and on other weeks, two consecutive days off during the week. The working hours will need to work around the family’s needs until a routine is established and may be at night or during the day. The family would appreciate a candidate who is flexible and on occasion can babysit or assist overnight, rather than during the day, depending on the needs of the family and how the baby settles during travelling. You will either have time off in return or be offered overtime for additional hours carried out. The family has three dogs who will be travelling with them. A candidate who is fond of dogs is preferred. The successful candidate must have a passport which allows for seamless travel in the countries the family intend to travel to. The start date will be mid-May, and the family can meet candidates in person either in the U.K or Dubai depending on the time of the interview and location of the candidate.
