Group Financial Controller job, Guildford, Surrey paying up to £120k
Your new company
You will be joining a well established group in the Guildford area in their UK head office. The business has grown significantly in the last five years to £300m + revenue and as such they are seeking a talented finance professional like you to join the team and lead the function across the UK and EMEA regions.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director and partnering closely with the regional Finance Leaders, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of group financial reporting, group tax, group treasury and group audit requirements. Supported by a qualified and progressive team, you will ensure delivery of the monthly activities whilst taking on a number of projects, including improving the balance sheet; developing and streamlining the accounting system; integrating newly acquired entities and supporting the FD with change programmes. This is a very broad role with plenty of scope to develop in a forward-thinking business!
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful and in addition to your accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you should be a proven operator within group finance and have experience of overseeing multiple countries in a technical/group setting. Leadership experience is essential, as is a positive approach to continuous improvement and team development. You will be supported by a finance leader with extensive experience and they are seeking excellent relationship builders and communicators.
