We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5Administration Services Manager to join the Breast and Endocrine Surgery Team.
The position is permanent 37.5 hours per week and worked across hospital sites.
As the Administration Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
The management and provision of administrative, clerical and secretarial support for the service.
Leading the administration team in all managerial functions including HR, competency and efficiency and developing and co-ordinating the delivery of high-quality training, ensuring training delivery meets service needs and is delivered professionally and effectively.
Ensuring optimum use of physical capacity throughout administration teams to deliver service, and ensure robust plans are in place to develop and improve the administrative role in line with new practices.
Ensure effective management of clinics and rotas.
Support with performance monitoring of Cancer and Referral to Treatment standards.
The post holder will participate in the development of corporate objective, policies, standard operating procedures and strategic plans. The post holder will be expected to organise their own workload and that of the Care Group administrative teams

*Facilitate and manage changes to working practices for own work area
*To establish and continue improvement of office information systems and procedures to ensure an efficient and effective service
*To be able to manage difficult conversations, showing an ability to manage conflict and communicate in a clear and empathic manner.
*To be aware of technological used to support all processes.
*To develop and maintain an efficient system of working.
