Compliance Projects Analyst Role Overview
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Policy and Procedure Review:
o Analyze compliance policies and first-line operating procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
o Map these policies and procedures to relevant regulatory requirements, with a focus on areas impacted by the bank's transformation.
2. Regulatory Compliance Assurance:
o Provide assurance that key policies and procedures remain compliant with regulatory requirements during organizational changes.
3. Centralized Documentation:
o Establish and manage a central repository to document and demonstrate how the bank complies with regulatory obligations.
4. Regulatory Advisory Support:
o Advise business teams on regulatory requirements affecting updates to existing processes.
Essential Experience and Skills:
* Regulatory Expertise:
o Strong knowledge of FCA rules related to retail banking.
o Experience mapping policies and procedures to regulatory requirements, particularly those set by the FCA and/or the Payment Services Regulator.
* Policy Background:
o While not a primary focus, experience in drafting or reviewing policies is highly desirable.
