Are you dynamic, motivated and have a passion for providing high quality care to your patients? We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our large, well-established and friendly community team.

The North Devon Link Road can transport you to the beautiful shorelines of the North Devon Coast, Exmoor and Blackdown Hills, Area of Natural Beauty. You can also access direct trains to London from Tiverton Parkway, taking less than 2 hours.
We manage a varied, largely domiciliary caseload from post-op rehab, Pathway 2 rehab in care homes to long-term condition management, falls prevention and same-day equipment assessments to keep patients safe at home. Applicants will require sound moving and handling skills, good problem solving, prioritisation and excellent communication. Our offices are shared with Community Nurses, Social Workers and Urgent Community Response, allowing a high level of integrated working to the benefit of our patients.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and development of Band 5 Occupational Therapists, students, and support staff assigned to them. Excellent IT skills are required to coordinate the smooth running of the service and utilise the benefits of our online MyCare portal.
The post-holder will require a driving licence and access to a car to complete their community visits.
Working Pattern: The majority of shifts are completed 8.30 to 4.30 and the successful candidate will be entered onto the team rota for late shifts (either 10-6pm or 12-8pm depending on capacity) and weekends (with toil time provided to compensate). This is to support admission avoidance and facilitate timely hospital discharge to the benefit of our local community.
