A Construction Support Specialist I plans and performs work requiring sound engineering judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of assignments. May implement and execute construction support activities on projects worldwide. On small projects, the Construction Support Specialist I may function as the “lead” for construction support activities.
Responsibilities
* Support projects that are located in the office and in the field
* Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
* Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
* Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
* Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
* Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
* Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
* Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
* Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
* All applicants must be US citizens who possess or be eligible to acquire a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
* The U.S. Government customer requires that United States citizens under consideration for employment at the Rainy location, OCONUS, United Kingdom under a Department of Defense (DoD) contract as well as their spouse/domestic partner and any dependents ages 5yrs and above who will be accompanying them, complete a Behavioral Health Evaluation (BHE) by a doctoral-level (i.e., PhD, PsyD, or MD) behavioral health specialist (i.e., Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist) and be deemed “Qualified/Approved” before authorization can be granted to the Candidate Contractor and their family, to relocate to the United Kingdom.

* Through understanding of construction operations and support functions
* Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions
* Capable of performing constructability assignments in the office(s) and/or at the site
* Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
