Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us ideally on a full-time, permanent basis, although will also consider less than full-time hours for the right candidate. The role can be remote or hybrid working (if remote, candidates must be comfortable with occasional travel to Chilwell office. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £26,000 per annum plus study support if the successful candidate would like to achieve the professional accountancy qualification. Processing bank payments in accounting system (Open Accounts) and via the bank. Maintain records and support external audits. Weekly cash to revenue reviews. Weekly payment runs & payment reconciliations to customer statements. Weekly unallocated cash reporting. Various project work including ad hoc invoicing as and when required, including national and regional conference sponsorship income. Closing of periods in Open Accounts Processing and maintaining records of client complaint payments. Raising sales ledger invoices to customers for licence fees. Monitoring repayments for Commission Advances to clients. Setting up of new suppliers to be paid along with any changes in their banking details. Overheads reporting for monthly Senior Management Team pack. Monthly payroll journal processing for 2 legal entities. Ad hoc support to the Finance Director and Management Accountant as and when required. Assist with preparation of Balance Sheets. Use of the reporting function of Revolution (Stonebridge in-house CRM system). Assist with quarterly FCA and HMRC VAT reporting where required. Act as a back-up for Daily Applications report where required. Act as cover for any leave of the Finance Manager for Virtual Credit Card processing. Assist Finance Manager in the inputting of Purchase Ledger invoices into Open Accounts. Our ideal candidate Qualifications: High standard (A to C) of GCSEs & A levels (or equivalent), particularly English & Maths. Would suit somebody about to embark on their professional accountancy qualifications. Experience: Evidence of working in a Finance team of a Financial Services business would be a distinct advantage.
