The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a part time (18.5 hour) Targeted Youth Worker/ Targeted Youth Support Worker to join the Early Help Team in Restormel area ( St Austell, The Clays, Newquay). You will be part of an established and experienced team alongside Family Workers and Parenting Workers. This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check. Working Pattern: The 18.5 hours will be worked across a Monday to Friday working week and which days can be negotiated. The bulk of your hours will be between 9-5pm but there will be some evening work or earlier starts depending on the needs of your caseload What you’ll need to succeed We have opportunities for an experienced Worker with a track record of effective intervention with children and young people. You will be able to evidence your learning and practice and how this has positively impacted on the lives of children.
