The Business Planner's salary is between £35k & £40k per annum.
The hours of work are 37, Mon-Thu 8-5pm and Fri finish at 12pm.
Role Overview
The role of the Business Planner is to assist the Business Planning Manager to create and update schedules enabling the business to achieve client demands and to provide data to measure performance.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Scheduling of engineering and manufacturing tasks to meet contract and business demands.
2. Updating of schedules in line with progress and contractual movement.
3. Pipeline analysis of capacity/loading.
4. Business performance analysis.
5. Preparation of data for analysis and visual management.
6. Management of MRP system.
7. Any other ad hoc duties as may be required, and as commensurate with the grade of post.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
1. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills essential.
2. Microsoft Power BI experience desirable.
3. Experience of business scheduling or data analytics desirable.
4. Experience of MRP/ERP systems.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
The Business Planner's position is full-time and a permanent staff position.
