On behalf of our Thetford based manufacturing client we are looking for a HR MANAGER with FMCG experience to join their team. As the HR Manager, you will serve as the key HR contact, providing comprehensive HR support and ensuring the company's compliance with employment regulations. You'll also take ownership of developing HR policies, supporting payroll, and providing guidance to line managers on staff development and engagement. Role Responsibilities: Act as the key HR contact within the organisation. Mentor and develop the HR Assistant. Ensure HR policies are compliant, updated, and accessible. Provide in-house training and guidance to line managers on HR policies. Liaise with Occupational Health teams and manage employee relations. Provide HR -related reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities. Support the CEO with HR decision-making and strategic initiatives. Lead recruitment efforts, including liaising with external agencies. Oversee staff appraisal processes and ensure regular reviews. Manage job descriptions, organisational charts, and payroll processes. Collaborate with insurers regarding claims and other ad hoc HR duties. Required Skills: Proven HR management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of time and attendance systems is desirable. Experience in liaising with external agencies and Occupational Health. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. CIPD Level 3 or higher. Personal/Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects. Clear, consistent, and engaging communicator. Resilient, with a 'can-do' attitude and attention to detail. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage remotely when needed. Experience: Experience in managing HR within a manufacturing environment. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and payroll support. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 0830-1700 and the salary range is £35,000 - £42500 per annum ADZN1_UKTJ
