About Our Client
My client is a recognisable brand & a Global Organisation that operates in the retail industry. They have a significant presence in North America & now in the UK and are renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
* Responsible for inspecting styles as per company inspection and sampling criteria, to ensure that workmanship, measurements, and overall products conform to defined product specifications and regulatory compliance standards.
* Own the execution of the inspection process from Purchase Order (PO) receipt to recording inspection results and uploading reports through the company reporting system.
* Coordinate product rework with company approved third-party rework facilities.
* Provide inspections data to support Global Quality improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate with DC Inventory Management teams to ensure POs are handled and quarantined appropriately and effectively.
* Support the Global Product Integrity team in reviewing inventory with quality nonconformance's, and actively work on exiting that inventory through appropriate channels.
* Co-ordinate with wider teams in DC and manage relationships with independent third-party facilities.
* Collaborate with DC Management & DC teams to define specific QA procedures and workflows.

The Successful Applicant
A successful/experienced Quality/Product Quality Inspector with a background in Retail/Apparel/Garment industry, as well as:
* Quality inspection experience and knowledge of different inspection techniques.
* Able to read, understand and interpret basic product drawings, dimensions, procedures, and work instructions.
* Able to use quality measurement tools, such as tape measure, caliper, hygrometer, moisture meter, light color box.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, SharePoint), Smartsheet.
* Working knowledge of an ERP or Warehouse Management system (WMS) is beneficial.
* Experience working in a Distribution Center environment is preferred.
