PURPOSE Feed the pulpers according to the daily loading sheet in compliance with the working instructions and the safety guide lines.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Pick bales of pulp / converting broke, de-wire (pulp unit and single bale) and load onto conveyor in line with specified loading schedule, entering details into stock management system
Be familiar with the functioning and automation of referent plant equipment
Operate the de-wiring conveyor, pulper feed conveyors and steel wire baler
Identify potential contaminants in bales and isolate
Complete routine checks on equipment and installation in the working area and report any faults identified
Operate equipment in accordance with training guidelines
Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
Assist with the operation and cleaning of the paper machine if required, including all tasks where trained
Comply with all defined standards for quality, environment and Health and Safety
To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
