* This is a fantastic, fixed term opportunity to join the Financial Controls team. The purpose of the Financial Controls team is to ensure robust and compliant systems of internal control and that our wide range of statutory financial reporting and framework obligations are met.
* In this role, you will support the integrity of the controls environment within the business and be responsible for managing, reviewing, and operating key team activities including data analysis and delivering reporting and compliance activities in line with company strategy and associated responsibilities and values.
* You will have opportunities to work collaboratively across finance and the wider business to gain experience in a wide range of processes and work with key stakeholders.
* Supporting the framework of internal controls for the UK region, you will be the liaison with the business process owners to ensure application and recommend improvements.
* You will oversee the management of the company expense system including data analysis and reporting to drive business improvements.
* You will support the day-to-day activities of the finance function in terms of purchasing, monitoring, and maintaining delegation of authorities and other control activities as required.
* In addition, you will monitor specified business controls, including those performed by outsourcing partners and work on “core” risk and controls work, including Asset Verification and Senior Accounting Officer administration.
* You will support the wider team on other elements of financial control and have the opportunity to ‘cross skill’ across different areas of the team in order to provide cover and support where required.

* You will be AAT qualified or equivalent, with ACCA or CIMA being an advantage for this role.
