September Start – Fulltime Basis
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant to work in a lovely school based near the CF39 area. This position is on a full-time basis, starting in September and will run for the remainder of the academic year (until July 2025). Interviews will be held over the next 2 weeks.
What is Required to be a Learning Support Assistant?
* No formal education qualifications are required
* A passion for education and helping children is paramount
* Minimum 5 GCSEs in core subjects
* Enhanced DBS available on update service (Teaching Personnel can provide assistance)
* Valid registration with the EWC (Teaching Personnel can provide assistance)
What does a Learning Support Assistant do?
* Greet students in the morning and escort them to lesson
* Assist students understanding of tasks, support their needs
* Manage challenging behaviours in class
* Follow school policy
* Ensure student safety and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
