What you would do in this role Applying structural design principles and industrial best design validation practices Performing structural analysis of various airframe structures and techniques, Analysis of metallic and composite structures (Fuselage / Wing / HTVT) Airframe static stress analysis techniques including analytical calculation methods, finite element techniques (FE method), derivation of material and component allowable. Structural analysis with Analytical (Hand-Calculation) and FEM approach. FE model validation and report preparation Various type of analysis (e.g., Linear, Buckling, Dynamic and Frequency Response Analysis). Performing non-linear analysis (Static and Dynamic). Applying engineering fundamentals such as material properties, Free-body diagrams, structural loads, and analysis methods. Utilizing FEM software (e.g., PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyperworks, Abaqus) Developing standard calculation templates and macros using programming languages (e.g., Python Visual Basic). Helicopter and/or Nacelle experience is added advantage. Compilation of calc results and stress reporting using MS office Tools (e.g., Word, power point, Excel) Experience in utilizing industry CAD systems (e.g., CATIA/ENOVIA) will be added advantage. Who are we looking for? Pro-active Aerostructure Engineer with hands-on experience in stress simulations and various design validation methods with. Overall, 6 to 8 years’ experience. Graduate/Postgraduate (Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil) Good verbal and written communication skills and Ability to work across different functional teams.
