Surveying Manager (Fire doors)\n\nDaniel Owen is looking for a Fire Door Surveying Manager to join a leading provider of health, safety, and environmental services, committed to delivering high-quality fire safety solutions.\n\nWith a strong reputation for excellence, they specialise in fire safety assessments, compliance management, and training. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Fire Door Surveying Manager to lead their fire door surveying operations, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and industry best practices.\n\nLocation: Nottingham\n\nPosition: Fire Door Surveying Manager\n\nSalary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum + Package\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nAvailability: This role is immediately available\n\nAs a Fire Door Surveying Manager, you will play a pivotal role ensuring fire door safety and compliance across various properties and facilities. You will oversee fire door inspections, manage a team of surveyors, and provide expert guidance to clients.
This role requires a strong technical background in fire safety, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to improving fire safety standards.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nManaging and developing a team of fire door surveyors, ensuring high standards in fire door inspections and compliance assessments.\nOverseeing surveys, identifying and documenting non-compliance issues, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.\nAdvise clients on fire door safety regulations and best practices while implementing quality assurance processes to maintain consistency and accuracy in all surveying operations.\nLiaising with contractors, building managers, and regulatory bodies will also be a key part of the role, ensuring all fire safety requirements are met. \n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience in fire door surveying, compliance assessments, and fire risk management, along with a strong understanding of fire safety legislation, including BS 8214 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.\nLeadership experience is essential, as is the ability to train and develop a team.\nExcellent communication and report-writing skills are required, as well as proficiency in using digital reporting tools.\nRelevant certifications such as FDIS Diploma, BM Trada Q-Mark, or IFSM Fire Door Inspection Scheme are highly desirable. \n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you are interested in working for this established company, please apply with your updated CV
