Detailed job description and main responsibilities
As a registered nurse, the post holder will be responsible for managing allocated school caseloads, developing care plans for individualized care, completing risk assessments of clinical needs, safeguarding children and young people through local procedures in line with Northamptonshire Safeguarding Board, providing leadership and mentoring of others, leading immunisation clinics, and working in collaboration with other agencies. Training of school staff and Looked After Children Review Health Assessments will also be part of this role. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring they maintain their registration through continued professional development, ensuring high standards of practice.
