Job description
We're looking for an Accessories Account Manager to manage, develop and grow the existing business as well as bring on new business with some input from senior management.
Experience
Proven track record of achieving sales targets with existing customers and new business. Good understanding of the supply / manufacturing process with Chinese factories. Strong negotiation skills and proven track record of achieving target margins and accurate costings.
We're looking for a driven strategic Accessories Account Manager who works well under pressure, is a great team player and passionate about design and fashion.
Accessories Account Manager Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage relationships with key customers
* The candidate will be challenged to bring on new business
* Build and maintain strong relationship with factories; understand their strengths and work together to build the business
* Manage key dates and critical path
* Maintain awareness of trends and competitor ranges
* Negotiate prices with buyers and factories
* Customer meeting preparation and follow up
* Working closely with design and merchandising team
* Product Development with buyers
Requirements
* Understanding of production process, particularly with factories in China
* Understand the retail cycle with experience of working in a fast moving and reactive environment
* Demonstrate capacity to communicate at all levels of the business and with external customers; both verbally and via email
* Proven ability to manage multiple customers; meet deadlines, prioritise and take initiative.
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Show passion for product
* Must be a team player with a positive attitude
* Excellent computer skills including Excel
