Talent & Development Manager Annual Salary: £50,000 to £58,0000 Location: Basingstoke Job Type: Full-time, permanent I'm working on behalf of an exciting, large, established business in Basingstoke who are seeking a Talent & Development Manager to join their HR team and support their workforce in reaching their full potential. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Day-to-day of the role: Coordinate and report on key development activities such as Talent Review and Personal Development Review (PDR). Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive and monitor progress for key Talent & Development processes. Design and deliver talent initiatives/programmes to maximise engagement and retention for key populations such as High Potentials, Graduates, and Apprentices. Proactively communicate development programmes and opportunities available to all employees to ensure staff engagement through career and personal development. Ensure all aspects of development and talent management are focused on diversity and inclusiveness. Develop and deliver strategic leadership development programmes for all leaders. Enable and ensure the development of interventions focused on improving line manager competence and capability. Research, recommend, and oversee talent identification & development methods, processes, and tools, often collaborating with third parties. Foster and maintain relationships with external professional bodies, advisers, consultants, and learning & development providers. Provide analysis and reports to support talent management and succession planning activities. Monitor and measure training delivery results and ensure coherence with group programmes. Deliver projects to plan and budget and provide career progression and pathway guidance. Manage the learning and development advisor role and work alongside the HR team to source and implement new apprenticeships. Coordinate UK use & content deployment on Moodle workplace LMS system. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree or equivalent experience (5 years in HR / Talent, Learning, Development). CIPD Qualification Level 5 or above. System knowledge in LMS / Talentsoft. Demonstrated commitment to people development aligned with organisational values. Proven ability to lead in the full training cycle. Passion for developing employees and a proactive, resilient, collaborative, and adaptable approach. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build good relationships at all levels within the organisation. Innovative in developing solutions and strategies to develop the business. Excellent planning & organising skills.
