See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality The Sales Manager is responsible for managing both Marine and Non-Marine business within their assigned territory customers, including the development and implementation of sales plans, revenue generation, customer and consumer service and day-to-day sales operations. In addition, the Sales Manager will provide promotional sales support for NG promotional efforts including exhibitions/events, distributor in country shows, regional and national tournaments and retail account promotions. Essential Functions Develops and executes both a short term and medium-term strategy for growing sales revenues and share of wallet (SOW) from new and existing key partnerships in the assigned area. Has significant authority to negotiate pricing and product terms and conditions. Locates, evaluates and appoints potential partners and establishes long lasting professional working relationships at senior/board level within new and existing accounts in the designated area via regular travel throughout assigned territories. Develops and maintains strong technical awareness of the use and application of products, as well as a strong understanding of our competitor’s product and their features and performance characteristics” Studies the market for new trends and feeds market information back to the Sales Management and relevant Category Business team. Acts as first line of contact for your customers and ensure the correct handling of orders by NG Customer Support team and interact with NG credit controllers on any financial based issues prevent goods from being shipped Manages sales activities and maintains sales records (CRM) and reports to management through monthly KBI reporting. Provides input to sales team meetings for a cross-border understanding of the market. Shares best practices and business results. Liaises with Technical Support for technical solutions and support in closing deal(s). Represents at the most relevant trade fairs for the sector and area of interests Complete special projects or other duties as assigned Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: 5 years as an International Territory Manager/ Account Manager in the Marine industry Ability to think strategically, but to also drive results through personal execution Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English with the ability to speak effectively at all levels within organization Comfortable in selling technical products and systems Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering Passion for technical products and the Marine industry Ability to speak an Eastern European Language Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering Working Conditions : Substantial travel customers locations in Europe throughout the year for Business meetings, Joint customer visits, Boats Shows, Trade Events and Training, sometimes and relatively short notice Expectation to be present in local office a minimum of 3 days per week when not traveling Must be confident to travel on their own.
