Purpose
Responsible for electrical maintenance work on site, including planned, preventive and reactive activities. This is to ensure that site reliability and integrity is maintained to the required legal and company standards.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
1. Raise relevant work permit requests, accept and follow the permit, isolation procedure and other related safe systems of work to complete the task. Complete and/or contribute to risk assessments associated with all maintenance duties expected for the role.
2. Complete scheduled maintenance as per the company maintenance plan to support the running of the production site.
3. Work to company standards and procedures to ensure maintenance tasks are executed to the required quality standard, with the goal of minimising impact on production and maximising plant availability.
4. Develop and review maintenance procedures to keep information accurate, complete and relevant.
5. Work with project personnel and contractors in the delivery of tasks in line with trade skills.
6. Contribute to continuous improvement activities with the aim of improving safety, environmental, equipment availability and efficiency performance.
7. Undertake any other duties of which the responsibility, skill and experience required fall within a post holder’s expected capability and commensurate with the post holder’s position in the company.
SHEQ Management
1. Ensure that all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met during the execution of maintenance tasks.
2. Report any accidents or near misses as required by our health and safety policy.
Equipment Management
1. Identify and rectify equipment defects related to your specific trade.
Team Building & Incentive
1. Participate in group meetings and engage in training.
Communication
1. Communicate and coordinated with production related departments.
2. Participate communication with customer if necessary and authorized.
Confidentiality
1. Follow Corp. TSP regulations to maintain confidential on sensitive information.
2. Promote and organize workshop staff to participate trainings and propagandas of Business Secrets Protection regulation that issued by Corp. TSP office.

Skills & Qualifications
Education
Essential
Relevant trade qualification as an electrical technician.
Ideally with a recognised level 3 education certificate, such as NVQ or HNC, in a relevant electrical engineering field.
Key Skills
Essential
Electrical Technician background, ideally within the chemical, petrochemical or oil and gas industry.
Experience in the maintenance, overhaul and testing of switchgear, distribution boards, motors, motor control centres and other miscellaneous plant electrical equipment.
Familiar with the use of computers for allocating, receiving and signing off maintenance work.
Desirable
Preferably CompEx trained
