Shift Patterns: 22.5 hours Monday to Friday

An excellent opportunity has arisen to come and be part of our dynamic Speech and Language therapy team at Berkshire Healthcare Trust (with hybrid working available).
Main duties of the job
* Be responsible for utilising your clinical skills to provide high quality assessments and diagnoses of patients to devise comprehensive treatment plans covering a mixed caseload.
* Able to act autonomously as well as operate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, whilst also providing guidance, training and support to junior staff, and the support system around patients.
* Write SMART goals and provide advice and recommendations based on the needs of the child and their family/carers.
* Support children with special educational needs and additional needs essential, including children who are verbal and non-verbal.
* Maintain the objectives of the service and work within the parameters of the service's operational model.

Person Specification
Experience
* Needs to have experience of working in Paediatrics.
* Experience of working in early years settings/mainstream and/or special schools to carry out assessment of Speech, language and communication needs.
Qualifications
* Qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
* HCPC Registered.
