Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare assistant to join Chelmer Medical Partnership in Chelmsford. The position is offered on 20 hours per week, Monday and Thursday 8.00am 6.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break. Candidates will be required to work across the partnerships three sites. These are; Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery. Our well established, friendly practice requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual with previous primary care experience to assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.The healthcare assistant role within general practice can be very different to the role within other settings and as such we are only looking for applications from those with previous primary care experience. Main duties of the job Phlebotomy. ECGs. Diabetic health checks. Flu vaccinations. Simple wound care. Dressings. B12 vaccinations.
