Academics is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision.
This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about working with children with Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), or complex learning disabilities. No prior experience is required - just a willingness to support and inspire young learners.
What the role involves:
* Working closely with teachers to support an individual pupil's learning and development
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and inclusion in the classroom
* Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage in learning
* Implementing interventions and strategies in collaboration with therapists
* Providing consistent support throughout the school day, ensuring pupils feel safe and supported
About the position:
* Location: SEND provision within a primary school
* Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
* Duration: Long-term position with the potential to become permanent
* Pay: 83 - 100 per day
