The Role
Ignite Energy is recruiting a full time, permanent BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team. The role will involve supporting the Project Managers delivering energy reduction projects in the field of BMS and LED lighting controls. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time served BMS Commissioning Engineer to work with a growing team.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role are:
1. Working in line with CDM Regulations 2015.
2. Commissioning of control panels and BMS systems.
3. Generation and implementation of BMS Software/Strategies.
4. Reactive BMS support.
5. QC inspections, client demonstrations and client training.
6. Communication with the project team and the office-based support team with regular updates, consultation, and support in safe working.
Candidate Requirements
You’ll have extensive experience operating as a BMS Commissioning Engineer within the Building controls Industries in the UK marketplace. You should have extensive knowledge of either Trend, Siemens, Schneider or Tridium. A working understanding of energy efficiency projects, strong attention to detail, 18th Edition and 2391 advantageous, and a driving license valid for driving in the UK are essential. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and the Office package are also required.
Prospective candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a methodical and responsible approach to their duties and the ability to engage productively with all levels of management.
