We are currently looking for a Head of Manufacturing to to ensure all onsite manufacturing and warehousing operations perform effectively, are fit for the future and are continually improving.

The Role: The Head of Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing site while driving strategic initiatives that support the company's growth trajectory. This is a key role within the organization, with responsibilities that include:
* Managing the manufacturing team of approximately 35 people (with growth potential to 60 within 18 months)
* Driving all SPQDC KPIs, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
* Ensuring a high-performance, team-first culture, fostering morale and collaboration
* Leading the implementation of best practices in manufacturing, establishing a Zero-Harm safety culture and Right-First-Time quality processes
* Reviewing and optimizing manufacturing resources, machine capacities, and inventory management in line with a 24-month sales forecast
* Playing a key role in a planned site expansion and overseeing talent planning to ensure a highly skilled, flexible team
* Managing the annual operating budget and contributing as a proactive member of the Senior Operations Management Team

The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer with a well-established reputation who is set to undergo significant growth, and this role will be integral to ensuring the operations are aligned with the long-term business strategy. The company’s operations are located across multiple sites, including Dudley, with occasional travel required (both domestic and international).
Compensation:
* Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum
* Bonus: 5-10% based on performance
* Occasional travel to the Dudley site (once per month) and potential international travel 1-2 times per year
