My client is a leading independent Lloyd’s broker who are looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join the team. They have a reputation for excellence in handling complex claims for a diverse portfolio of clients. They offer in-house claims handling, ensuring direct access to insurers and placing teams, and delivering a streamlined, client-focused service.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage an active caseload of commercial claims from notification through to settlement.
* Serve as the primary contact for clients, insurers, and stakeholders.
* Evaluate policy coverage, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate closely with placing teams to deliver tailored claims solutions.
What's needed for me to be considered?
* Experience in commercial claims handling
* Proven ability to manage an active caseload, demonstrating strong attention to detail, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities
* Experience handling claims from start to settlement
* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and managing relationships.
