The Role
We are looking for a teacher with the enthusiasm to motivate and inspire students and is keen to make a significant contribution to the further development of our PE department.

You will be a creative, adaptable, and dedicated specialist with high aspirations and a love of PE which will enable you to deliver creative lessons to inspire pupils. In addition, you will have a demonstrable track record as an excellent classroom practitioner ensuring pupils meet or exceed expected progress. Qualifications
1. Graduate in relevant subject with Qualified Teacher Status - Essential
2. Well structured supporting letter indicating beliefs and understanding of important educational issues - Essential
3. Commitment to and track record of continuing professional development relevant to subject area - Essential
4. To hold relevant qualifications in line with required sports alongside a first aid certificate - Essential
Skills
1. Up to date, excellent knowledge in subject, national and local policy, pedagogy, and classroom practice - Essential
2. Track record of embracing innovation - Essential
3. Understanding of competency-based curriculums in-line with assessment techniques and the ability to develop them - Essential
4. Experience in planning assessment strategies in line with desired outcomes - Essential
5. A knowledge of current health and safety issues - Essential
6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a range of different audiences including providing sensitive feedback to parents/carers and other professionals regarding pupil development - Essential
7. Ability to work effectively in a wide range of partnerships to achieve school improvement - Essential
8. Ability or commitment to develop the use of new technology to a high level - Essential
9. Ability to use ICT effectively in the classroom and to support learning - Essential
10. Understanding and commitment to raising standards, target setting and reviewing performance - Essential
An enhanced DBS check is required for this post and the successful applicant will either need to apply for a DBS or give Northern Arch Learning Partnership consent to check their status if they are registered with the DBS Update Service.
